Lo-Kai in Dracut

Such a great evening - got to hang out with Danny Kline of the J. Geils Band - super show!

This is a quirky local joint for good American style Chinese food. Mike the manager was great and got a 12 person table ready for us ASAP. Diane our server did a great job. The reason I gave 4 stars was due to the bar tender. There was no beer menu offered and nothing behind the bar to indicate what beer is served (no draft beer either). So I asked the bartender what beer does he have? His answer, "What beer do you think we have?" Then he said he will sell me a Corona. Just know for future reference if you visit.

Had a great time accommodated 50 people for my aunts b day and had no problem even when the road runner had car show as well great food drinks service worked out mint. Thank you

Depressing! Not only everything is dirty... i asked for a small plate and they charged me a large one, and the nuddles tested old. This is the type of place where old drunk people get together everyday after 7PM, not my cup of tea.

The food was sitting around too long for a buffet everything was dry and hard. The coke was good though

Saw a comedy show there. Didn't have any food. The room where the show was was run down and my boots were sticky on the bottom for days after

Awesome food, drinks and service.

Very dated decor. The food was nothing special, in fact it was below par. Waitstaff was inattentive and owner was busy reading the paper.

I had not been to The Lokai in 30+ years. I was not too keen on getting the buffet so two of us ordered off the lunch menu. The lady who did order the buffet was very pleased. The pics are of the two lunch plates which were VERY good. The dining room was clean and the service was fast and friendly. We were so pleased with our meals that we ordered the same lunch specials a week later for take out - they were delicious too! We will definitely be back to The Lokai more often.

I would say they do their best to make you happy I think it's a good place to go but you have to be patient

Bad buffet trust me never again could and takes forever to change the food

There is a folk lure that this place is good or bad. Stay away from the buffet and anything near there. The best bet is the pu pu platter and house rice

As always the buffet was great and the wait staff wonderful.

Love the lunch and dinner buffets, have friendly staff, never waiting too long or left unattended so can always get in place order eat and go in under an hour and not feel rushed. Definitely good place to go

I've been coming here since I was a kid and now as an adult and mother I enjoy the the tradition even though this difficult time I still order hope we can keep this business going

Bobby Au the 80+ bartender is remarkable.

Told him I was a new customer and he said thanks. I tried to order the way I like and he started complaining and said he can't do it. I said what is the problem, just put the food in the pan and cook it. Charge me accordingly. Never had that problem before. He kept complaining so I just hung the phone. It took me 15 seconds to tell him what I wanted and he complained for 30. Won't be eating there.

Love this place. I've been going there for 20 years have never been disappointed.

I went here agian today for my birthday with my mother. It's great when you get there right on time 4 the buffet before it gets 2 busy and loud. They never have teriyaki sticks for the buffets though so that's a minus. The waitress was busy so she didn't check on us or refill our water or give us more butter so that's a minus. 5stars-2= 3 stars

Was there for a birthday party at the side room. It is a nice place, big space with a full bar a dance floor in the middle. Food was delicious. Great time and great service. Will definitely recommend for any activity.

Great drink selection, and bar/lounge right out of the 70s. The food is OK. But the drinks are phenomenal. They have a decent buffet, that is inexpensive.

I understand that the restaurants been slow or not open but they been open for throughout this virus . This is the third time I have ordered and it was no good the egg fou young salty like they poured the whole shaker in and it was so lumpy I guess they don’t no how to mix the flour in , the gold fingers hard and chewy the chicken kabobs extra dark and dry the ribs dry . For the price you pay you expect good food . It was good before the coronis virus now save your money go somewhere else.

Clean table. Waitress was very pleasant but food was totally sub-par. Most options were luke warm and anything with veggies had sat long enough to turn into a pasty mush. Nothing like how i remembered it from several years ago.

I hate everyone complaining about the decor because now they updated it and it doesn't feel the same. Food is great for the price, drinks are the best around and the bartenders are my favorite of anywhere I have been.

We had the Buffet, was good. Only four stars as i think they could up there game a little.

Went there to play Keno with my fiancée and we ordered their Pu Pu Platter, along with a couple of drinks. The staff is courteous and friendly. They also have live entertainment. I believe they had stand up comedy the day we went. We stayed in the bar area to play Keno and scratch tickets from their machines.

I was not happy this visit. I always go here and everything is fine.This last visit was lousy and the buffet was awful. They had hardly any food in the trays and some were empty.The food did not taste the same as before.

Been coming here for years. We got the buffet but when we got here at 5:30pm just about all of the pans at the buffet were empty. I did not expect this since the parking lot was empty. They did refill them quickly and we were still able to have an enjoyable meal. We all got Shirley Temples which were delicious but I just wish they would put them in slightly bigger glasses.

Love the food here been going for decades

The Lo Kai. Its just that. I've been here several times throughout my adult life. The food is ok? The biggest reason I truly love going is because some of the best memories I have created have been here. I will continue to go to the Lo Kai as long as they are around.

Lokai has long been a favorite of the locals..It has a great buffet but also a wide variety menu. It has 2 dining room areas, also a dining are inside the bar. There a live entertainment on some nights. Functions are welcome. The staff is pleasant..the food is great. I highly recommend the Lokai

My family and I met here after a very tough funeral to celebrate our loved ones life. They were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a very large group of about 75. I was impressed at how well they handled everything from food to cocktails to soda. Thank you very much Lo Kai.

I was at the LoI Kai last Saturday night for a reunion of friends. I haven't seen some of these people in about 30 years. The bartender was rude and probably should retire. The waiter was also rude and probably shouldn't work with the public. I've never heard of not being able to have two open tabs at a table. My friend asked why, he said, " what don't you get, we're busy'. Then he shut her off. If they are that busy, they need to hire more people. I bought food to go, it was horrible. I will never go there again! They should probably update too. I've been going there for years and they still have the same carpets. Gross!!!!

This restaurant opened at noon on Sundays. We were the first ones here. I'm writing this post at 1:33pm? Do these guys order from China to get there food? I'll never be back here again. The only reason why I'm still here is because my Grandmother used to.like this place. Never again.

Decent buffet selection. Fresh tasting.

Got here at 9pm. Buffet was closed which was ok with us. Figured we would order off the menu and our food would be fresh and hot. Nope !! Ordered a Pu Pu platter. The boneless ribs were burned and so hard you could bang them on your plate . The chicken wings were dried out . Probably items that were reheated from the closed buffet . Even the platter that the food was served in had a big chunk of wood taken out of it ! What kind of restaurant serves its meals in broken bowls?? Been years since I've been there. Will be years before I go back.

Lukewarm food with few options. Not worth the $30+ after taxes for dinner. I’m not sure how they won so many “awards” locally but I’d just keep driving past to find somewhere else to eat.

Says friday and saturday theyre open til 1230. And they never are. Maybe change signs in your door for the hours amd update your hours on google. Drove 30 minutes to go there just to find out theyre closed. False advertising
